When created was not sure exactly what the motivation was. Used it extensively with some satisfaction. Only realized afterward that it was somewhat inspired by a track from ElectricKettle called ‘The Marching Morons.’ Thinking that the legs should move all the way into the body.

Originally made for and using the logo of a duo called TANZTANZ. Spent so much time making this that did not have the heart to not use it again so incorporated the mask into it. As it turns out this mask is quite a nice still image for using while doing visuals. Sort of a signature with some nice moments when adding it to other materials.

I will be VJing for three nights during the Electron Music Festival in Geneva, Switzerland. Three nights all to myself. Kind of a massive undertaking if you think about it. This will be my third time working for Electron. This year I got to choose which nights/venues I am to mix. I did hesitate when I saw Venetian Snares on the bill. He is one of my all time Breakcore favorites and I wonder if I can do justice to the experience. Not so much for other people. I adhere to my own standards in that regard.
Here are the lineups that I will be VJing with:
Only recently did I get into Benga and Scream but other then that I don’t know a lot of these people.
Thankfully these days we have things like the Internet that allow you to go and easily find out what kind of music these people are doing as well as check out what kind of graphics can be created that might fit with what they do. Even with that option you never really know exactly what they will be doing and I think that is rather exciting.
Another interesting note is that as I type this Venetian Snares is about to perform right here in Berlin. Alas I cannot be there as I will need my strength tomorrow to stay up until 05h00 not to mention having procrastinated in the last week or so in not preparing graphics.

Not as engaging. Currently working on newer approaches to combining color. I may provide a preview of these or integrate a composite technique in the black and white drawings that resume from series 0016 through 0022 (the current book that is being drawn).
